Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Well I am back.. running again
Just want to thank Shoe for coming over to help me out, Adam and Marc for some good advice. After trouble shooting and eliminating spark and compression we focused on fuel (per Marc). Adam suggested pulling the rail and looking at injectors while firing to see if any were not spraying - clogged. All were spraying so we just reassembled everything and wella, working car. Maybe there was some dirt or something in there, just weird.
Whatever, I will try it again tomorrow morning to see if I have similar issues. Maybe it was bad gas, could be that I was missing clips on 2 important sensors and my zip tie rig was pulling them funny, not really sure to be honest. All I know is I have had enough of E85, looking forward to pump gas in the near future.
In the mean time Shoe dialed in my EBC, I am hitting 25 lbs. of boost, so its $ now. Just need to have Adam look at a cruise log and some pull logs to see if its running rich and then my E85 tune should be done.
Curious to see how the process works with pump gas. Watching Adam and Shoe work the maps has me a little interested, I may have to dive into learning that stuff next.
While I was sulking about car early today and waiting for Shoe to arrive I finally got started with shocks. I stripped off as much rust as I could with this wheel I bought and now they are ready for primer and paint. They will be looking almost new when I am done. I noticed today Bilstein has a swift spec sticker they put on shocks (had them tuned for Swift spec r springs) like that they put that on for some reason. Tomorrow hopefully I can get lower control arm out and roll center correction kits pressed in. Then I will paint / assemble suspension, align car, remove bumpers, lights and off to Maaco Monday morning for Matte Silver paint!
Thats alot to get done on Easter weekend.
