I'll bump something off topic, I'm up 2.51 percent on an apple trade I made this week.

I have a few breaking updates concerning myself:

1. My ribs are finally feeling better, still cannot lay on that side for too long and it is still sore to the touch. Its been 4 weeks already, enough!

2. went to Maaco and got an EXCELLENT price for my Matte Silver Paint. I am going to remove side moulding and front and rear bumpers and all lights. Spoiler too. Price is $750 for everything! Thats in my ballpark.

It was totally stock GT besides suspension and hoosiers, brand new. He runs in F stock. That is called a good driver kicking butt in a great car for F stock. Don Slevin is the driver, have known him for years, good guy. He used to drive an SSM Miata that would break every time he had it out.

Were you 25th in PAX? Don't feel bad, there were some guys (and girls) there that are no joke.

Nguyen is the most common vietnamese last name.

if you show up to autox without hoosiers, don't even bother to compare times.

That is quite some wheeling then. Figured he was running some good rubber too.

No, I actually didn't go to this event. Mark, who finsihed 25th, also runs some sort of race rubber though. I usually finish 1-2 seconds behind him.

Just an FYI... Malvern Wegmans has NN on tap. Makes for a great place to have lunch.

Mike, just remember, its going to look like a $750 paint job. That being said, I hope it turns out really well for you.

yeah right, a $750 maaco paint job will look like a car that was painted by Stevie Wonder during an earthquake.

Can't be any worse than the sh!tsubishi oem paint job. I've seen some decent macco paint job but they just don't last very long. They must use some really cheap quality paint. Its all about the clear coat.

I was disappointed I didn't get to see any of the SS guys this year. There was a few vettes last year that were insane.

I did not officially schedule it with the guy. I sent him a picture of the matte silver BMW to them to make sure they can get my color close to that. I also am waiting on a quote from LIP, guy who works there lives on the street adjacent to mine. He dropped wheel we had fixed (bent rim repair was done perfectly), had him look at car while he was there.
I assume no one is coming close to Maaco's price, but if its within a few hundred I would probably go with LIP. I already got a price of $2300 from guy who did stripe, he was hooking me up
Assuming Maaco does it I would drop car off Monday morning and it would be done Friday. I am leaving for DC Friday morning next week for Pro Solo, so I may just postpone until Monday after that since I need trailer to tow car there, will determine that once I officially schedule with the guy. It will happen real soon, cannot be seen in car looking that silly. Bad enough I autocrossed around the country with it looking like that.
