I competed in two autocross events last year in my friend's Shelby Cobra GT500 and got FTD both times. My instructor said I have natural talent, so I figured I could give Time Attack a try.

Winning local autox event doesn't mean much. Go to regional or national events and see where you stack up. Red Line TA hasn't been on east coast for several years. NASA TT is all the hype here.

What region and class do you run with for autox?

 

I'm not Viet but I do have a lot of Vietnamese friends and most of the guys in my pit crew are Viet. That's how we came up with the name.

How do I get into NASA TT racing?

 

Colorado region SCCA. we can in SM because it was a highly modify Shelby GT500. It's not a normal autocross car, that was the only class it could run in.

No pit crew for autocross. We put together a pit crew in preparation for Time Attack. The car will be show room stock. Stock tires and brakes because I don't want to void the warranty. I'm not sure what class the car will be in, probably the lowest class in TT. I just want to see if I can beat a modify Evo with a show room stock car.

 

Noob status

 

The glen is better than I remember. I think its my new favorate track, lol. Brakes are way over rated or it could be that my car just doesn't make enough power to use them much.
