Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I can't rely on them to post results as they still haven't posted the auto-x results from March 25th.
Missed your message until Tim reposted it, thanks buddy. Between your tips and watching Winnie I lurned something. I know I was letting off the power too much when I could smash it. 6 runs was mad fun though.
you can come to take pictures and grill and get rides.
fyi, anyone can get a ride with instructors, they are very open about it.
from the event description, it's only a DE event, no racing. so lots of track time and they allow novice group for all three days. check the event description on the link.
only skurd little girl shift in the esses, i'm redline in 4th before the esse and shift into 5th, and alwaysfullthrottle

I tagged 7 cones in my last and fastest run of the day. We got 6 runs in and I wasted 4 with the car feeling super loose. Gained nearly 4 secs in the 5th run when I finally felt the car was getting traction and I was feeling the grove, but hit one cone. Bobert and Tim was kicking my a$$ until the 5th run. Of course, I was a cone killer in the last run, which put me dead last in class.

GVC is all about the education of their drivers. Students have 2-3x more track time than instructors because they want to really teach you rather than just go out there and have you do laps.
I think your driving has improve tremendously for the few and sparse autox events you've done. You're way more aggressive and both throttle and brakes than previously. Just need to look ahead better, and learn to feel the car out some more. Did you check and adjust the air pressure after I rode with you? The rear felt loose for the setup you have...
Ahhhh, I see now...I needed the secret backdoor link. They are not posted in the monthly schedule with the rest of the results.
