That was in reference to Corey's car. LOSER!
DOn't know about evo's, but my buddy has one in his STI, and I like it alot. Nice engagement, really smooth, and very easy to drive. The Exedy Stage one is nice too though. I've driven a few Evos with them. More for lower hp and torque, but very smooth and easy for DD. I ordered the HD version as it holds a bit more power.

I already bought the car. I'm going to run two cars and one driver next season... where do I grid for that that?
Seriously though, I wish this was a year ago. I'm extremely happy with my evo, but a fully prepped and sorted BSP evo for that price is a good deal imo. Just add $2400 in wheels and hoosiers and be competitive in tours, pros, and nationals. If you can get setup notes from those guys (and maybe some driving lessons
), all the better!
i would run the GTA but i can't run hoosiers in both class, and i don't want to run street tires in NASA TTA. it sucks how GTA setup their class and tires.
doesn't the motor has to be out to do the BS eliminator, or at least its much easier with the motor out.

The timing belt was done at the same time as the balance shaft belt and the hydrualic tensioner was replaced also.
Chu knowing what I know now I wouldn't hesitate to do it. I was worried about extra noise messing with the knock sensors so I decided to keep them in there.

the hydraulic tensioner is only for the main timing belt, not for the BS belt. so if you over tighten the BS belt, you're still going to have problems. when i took the oem BS belt out at 15k miles, it was pretty loose. so when i installed the Gates belt, i made sure it wasn't too tight because the Kevlar belt doesn't stretch much anyways.
That I don't know... I'm not turning any wrenches on this project, I have too much going on at home and in my garage. I'm letting RT/Tuning do all the work. They will back and warranty anything they do and I trust them fully.
why buy Corey's car when you can buy this?
