Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I don't think anyone said it was easy. I think what was said was they it becomes repetitive and chasing down a tenth of a second isn't as fun.
I wouldn't really know. I haven't done it but know I won't be good at it first time out. Tim wants to see a trap speed. Maybe some day soon I'll oblige him. I don't know if he'll be blown away though.

hey punk, are you bashing me? Haha, j/k! I can't say if I only like drag racing cuz I've never done anything else. I know one thing .....I like power. Maybe its the rush of I big turbo car throwing me back into my seat. Maybe I want a big turbo cuz I have a little *****. I haven't figured out which carries more weight. Either way, I love drag racing and big horsepower that is all.
I wasn't even thinking about you Ms. Nyugen... I was talking more about faster cars.
what I love about the EVO is that you can do all three forms of racing; drag, autox & road race while still hauling kids in the backseat during a snow storm. we just need to mix target shooting, drinking and dead hookers into motorsports and we'll have all the bases covered.
To me, the autox is not much fun.. I think its because speeds are too slow, you typically stay in one gear, and you never really reach speeds fast enough to get into trouble.. There just isn't a thrill for me.. Doing a time trial on a real track instead of a parking lot seems like something I could get into though.
i used to drag race years ago with hondas because i didn't know autox existed, and i was too poor to do road course track. drag racing was cheap and close by. once i found out about autox, i was hooked. more seat time and require more car setup (suspension wise) which i like working cars. then i meet up with Tim and Tiebout at autox and they told me to come out to track and i was hooked. what i don't like about drag racing and autox is that you only have one chance, then you have to wait around to get another chance. with track, if you screw up a corner or a brake zone, you can try it again the next lap and keep improving till you get it right while it's fresh in your mind. i've never meet any who did track and said they hate it and wouldn't do it again.
I found another video of Mike at the doublecross event
