^For further clarification, Aaron's car has Stotech brake kits, which alters the offset required for clearance. Goes to show everyone's car is setup up differently.

thanks i'll look in that link. I'm expecting it to be a bunch of info on stance and the like, but probably still useful. Theya re Enkei RPF1 18"x 9.5", Hoosier A6 285/30.

Found the kits though. "EvoDave" makes them i guess. Whatchu mean by they are stupid, just looks like crap? that's cool with me. From the sound of it, i can easily widen the fender for events, and put back to stock/close to stock after when back on street tires. If it's functional, i'm all about it. I run stock wheels on the street (though 255's).

35 huh? that's a pretty big tire. I am currently on stock MR suspension, once i get wheels fitted and all good to go, I'm getting GTworx springs since they have the least drop. Good to hear you didn't get rubbing, I assume you were on a road course? I'll be using them for AutoX and probably much more likely to rub. but maybe not, I'm no pro, and just now getting into the race tire game.

i should add, +38 offset, though that's probably assumed.

Now that i did the trailing arms, i may as well have ordered 10" wheels. the whole reason for 9.5" was to be sure i cleared the links... live and learn.

Check the thread before you assume is all hellaflush... The name is "Official Wide Tire"

It's a typo, he ran 285.30.18.

You don't need the rear trailing links for the setup you've mentioned. Use a 5mm spacer in the rear, and roll the rears flat will give you sufficient clearance.

For the front, I ran -2.8 degrees of camber, and 20mm spacers. Camber will only help handling.

The fender mod is still stupid imo.

^ You stole my Avatar.

I'm excited to meet everyone this weekend at NJMP. The car is almost ready for track. Just some minor things to get finished up.

you're right. i was stunned. first couple posts, off the bat, were clicks, and pictures of people in action on track. badass.

huh. During the test fit i was not taking camber into account for getting things to fit. Mostly, what i saw was the rubber hit the trailing link. Assumed some amount of spacer required. With the huge tire, i also needed to make extra room for sidewall flex, giving me a pretty big (i assumed) spacer. Then, with a spacer it looked like my tire was gunna be out passed where the stock body is, so not just a roll, but a pull as well. That's when i said screw it, and ordered the trailing links.

Now on the subject of camber though... I use my Evo as a weekend fun car on the street, in addition to the autox and dragstrip. Keeping a streetable alignment is appealing to me. Can i run that sort of camber you mentioned on the street without destroying my tires? Keep in mind, I roadtrip between NC/PA at least a couple times a year, the car gets some miles on it.
