The worst I have ever gotten was 13.7mpg in the city, I tend to drive with a heavy foot if I'm not really paying attention and just trying to get somewhere. GM motors are pretty efficient, just like I used to get high 20's in my CTS-V, and a co-workers Supercharge C5 gets high 20's with 550whp.

I somehow always manage to drive me cars more than the 5k miles a year, so I'm never exempt... go figure.

I'm sold on getting a diesel. I've been looking a lot, but haven't seen much I really like. I used Ben's 3500 Cummins, non-dually, this past weekend to tow a car to Atlanta. I don't need something that big, but I would like a super-crew.

Overpriced diesel, lol. I want a pick-up anyways! I'm not buying a truck to daily drive. I've even thought about buying Fineberg's truck, SCARY!

Not cheating, just a loop hole. It hasn't been said you can't tow your car to quality inn in Millville. Then proceed to drive the car to and from the track. Many grassroots guys tow there car if they have the means.

I consider Thai's car wild because it has the capability to push 500hp+ and aero just like PA's car taunting "475hp on a good day". BUT the 2 cars are not on the same level regardless, so he falls into the middle of the 2 classes.. underdog not first or overdog no payout.

From what I know Dan is not going to be there Saturday and may fly out Sunday, the PA team is supposedly still driving out there. What hasn't been talked about is if there are plans to have the car driven by someone else.

I got my exempt sticker this year. I only put about 3k on it last year due to my t-case issue. I expect I will be really close to 5k this year, and will be coming down to the wire on getting another exempt.

It's easy to stay under 5k with all the hardparking I do.

Don't you work @t14? If so I basically work across the quarry and you will be hearing a 15 liter diesel engine with an 8 inch straight pipe running WOT for hours at a time in the next few weeks lol. I remember they could hear it in the office at the old location. Luckily we have an EPA noise exemption lol
BTW I think our shop CTSV gets about 8-12mpg lol and the denali gets about 6...

Thai's car might have the capability to do 500hp, as are all of ours, but its not going to. Fact of the matter is his motor is still all stock, so its unsafe. Furthermore, he won't be hitting 500hp on the KHC dyno, on 93 octane. He'd be luck getting anywhere near 450 (very lucky). His build is no where near the PA guys. The car only has a splitter and a rear wing for aero.

Petey, what's this talk of 15ltr with 8" pipe, in the last 2 years I haven't heard it, maybe because of the sound system in my office. Only thing I hear is gunshots from the township range/guns depo, and those damn quarry blasts that feel like earthquakes. It's like a war zone around here.
