^ my knock threshold is the same, 3 for low and 6 for high. turning boost down is not a band aid because you car is optimal at lower boost. factory boost is set low, you da retard that set your boost up to 23 psi and then have to spike fuel so you don't get knock. stock evos running stock boost dont get knock on track fool.

 

my boost is 19-20 psi. It'll spike to like 20.4 or something like that if i go real low in 4th gear, but mostly hangs around 18-19psi. I run EVOScan GPS and can see all my values in real time. Still more power than I can use.

Stock evo will knock on the track, don't get it fu(ked up rice-boy.

 

Real HPDE racers say F knock, F water and oil Temps, no matter what you gots to win the HPDE. Whatever happens, no f'in point bys!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure was lucky I am surprised too, will be replacing water pump and gasket, possibly all those hose around that area too. Probably will do valve cover gasket to just be sure. Hoping to fix all that this weekend.

Funny how I stopped for this cone that technically is still in the box and not a rerun, I was getting all strategic on Saturday. I was given a rerun for the worker who was not in picture but real close to there.

My air conditioning broke on the hottest day of the year, YEAH!!! They are coming to check it tomorrow, I have an air handler in my attic and the regular unit outside I always see. The unit outside fan is not working so I assume motor crapped out. Prolly a $1000 if I am lucky

A stock turbo evo has no buisness higher then 22psi on track. I would never reccomend running higher peak boost then the turbo is capable of sustaining up top, unless going for HPDE NGUYEN which seems to be pretty popular around here.

 

^ lol, my house AC took a crap today also. had to refill the gas once a year for last couple years. i knew i had to get a new one soon but been putting it off. i wanted to get something more efficient anyways, mine is 25 years old.

went all around town to look for a window unit until i get a new one in a couple of weeks. walmart, lowes, home depot, kmart, all sold out. luckily found one that was dented that no one wanted, i took it anyways. should get my by for a couple of weeks.

 

Oh and 315's rock even when tires are totally beat, can't wait to try out new set up on proper tires.
