no surprise there. those cars are tail happy in stock form. more than doubling the HP doesn't add in stability.

I really like how errbody is giving their expert opinion on car control and how to handle 500whp in a rwd car, like they have a clue from playing PS3.

10-12k is what I believe most appraisal books use as average annual use. That seems a lot of your garage queen Dan.

Not surprised. I had my stock S2000 sideways and aimed for a ditch not two days after I got it. Luckily my time spent on Gran Turismo payed off and I saved it, but it still doesn't make sense how. I got lucky to get away with a warning, but with 550 whp I doubt my story would be much different than OP's.

I've owned the X5 for slightly over a year, and it has packed on 20k already. LOL. The Evo has average 16k/year since I've owned it. Should be seeing less with my new job. Monthly Septa passes FTN!

It's braced at the up-pipe, then the up-pipe has a brace on it as well that bolts to the block/transmission to hold up the turbo.

That's nothing, I have owned my Yukon XL for almost 2 years. I bought it with 140k on it, and it has 220k on it now. There was also two months where I didn't drive it at all.

I drive all over the place because I can't stand fooking flying... Been through 19 states!

Minnesota
Wisconsin
Iowa
Missouri
Kansas
Virgina
Michigan
Indiana
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Delaware
New Jersey
Oklahoma
Illinois
Arkansas
Tennesee
North Carolina
West Virginia
Maryland

Poor truck, but it has never let me down and I use it for everything!

They absolutely do, when I'm ready for another truck I'm buying the same thing but a turbo diesel. The best thing about this truck is that after the tune and intake, its averaging 17-18mpg in the city and 22-24 on the highway, and it gets the same MPG with a trailer+car. It makes no sense.

Plus the fact that it is fully loaded (Yukon XL SLT) with leather heated seats, captains chairs in the middle, and all the bells and whistles. Definitely makes it my favorite vehicle I have ever owned, and I have no problem driving it all those miles.

Here is a group of pictures of when I had it up for sale (technically still is up for sale)

How the hell is that possible? That thing is like a prius compared to my Jeep commander.. It gets 10 city at best, intake, exhaust, hemi, ect.. I just got the diablosport intune this past weekend so I am gonna make up a custom tune for it and see how she does with it, mabye the tires are killing me.. That yukon is sweet though..

Ok maybe more like 2-3k miles. Lol. My point is that you really have to not drive the car at all to he less than 5k miles. I'm pretty sure I put in more than the in the las year. I'll check later today. If I'm under 5k miles this year that'll be sweet since I'll be exempt from emissions and I need to get inspected soon.
