Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
you're right. i was stunned. first couple posts, off the bat, were clicks, and pictures of people in action on track. badass.
huh. During the test fit i was not taking camber into account for getting things to fit. Mostly, what i saw was the rubber hit the trailing link. Assumed some amount of spacer required. With the huge tire, i also needed to make extra room for sidewall flex, giving me a pretty big (i assumed) spacer. Then, with a spacer it looked like my tire was gunna be out passed where the stock body is, so not just a roll, but a pull as well. That's when i said screw it, and ordered the trailing links.
Now on the subject of camber though... I use my Evo as a weekend fun car on the street, in addition to the autox and dragstrip. Keeping a streetable alignment is appealing to me. Can i run that sort of camber you mentioned on the street without destroying my tires? Keep in mind, I roadtrip between NC/PA at least a couple times a year, the car gets some miles on it.

Autox I would go -2.6 or more up front and maybe -1 in rear
Dam it, gotta fast scroll past the ghey vamp .. still at work yo. Can't read PCD while ghey vamp sit on screen.
I would like to go wider fender on the rears rather than add mad camber to tuck in the EVO X wheels. But I'd like to get camber bolts for the front. CBRD stopped dev on the bolts and suspension for RA, no demand no care. So.. front camber bolts and go see R/T? What about rear fenders, wat chu say?

I daily drive my Evo all year round, as does some others on here. I've ran -2.8 degrees for over 2 years, and tire wear is even across. In the rear, I was running between -1.5 to -1.8, which is also normal. I use the same tires for street as I do for track. What you're attempting is nothing new.
Robert, a little bit of rear camber doesnt' hurt. Would it be possible for you to use Evo X camber bolts for the front?

I don't DD my Evo but there is a definite difference in how the tires wear and behave with close to -3* camber versus -2*. My tires exploded instantly.
Seriously though I don't drive enough to appreciate DD tire wear but once I started running -3* the tires started making a lot more noise when street driving. It may mean nothing or it may mean something.
If I were driving up from NC frequently, I'd run a max of -2* up front but that's just my useless opinion.
Where in NC are you?
