"If you can afford the best suspension and new tires you probably win" that's with any sport even autocross 60second runs. The $6-8k 2/3way shock using new/shaved set of purple crack every event is going to be winning if both driver skills are equal.. Only lightweight low powered ST/STS/STC can get away with revalve konis and custom springs(~$1200). Bigger or Heavier cars need $6k+ dampeners at a minimum.
AST work on heavy cars and I know they are cheaper than $6000, like $3000 range.
Nelson, Thai, Marc, Pete, Dan, Chu, Stein B, Robert all need to come to an Autox event this year at the same time, preferably CBP. We need to go head to head, Shoe & I need to dominate the autocross and teach some foolz respect! We can use PAX to determine the Winna, cause autox is a race! That way if your car is not as prepped as say Shoe's SM beast, we can use the PAX handicapping system to determine who wins.

the only fair way is i drive my car and your car, and you drive your car and my car. and we add the times from both cars together.

Shoot, I may put the Girodisc Ultralights and we could have a battle royal, wonder if I could get similar times versus yours? prolly not
