Yes, should be a very good time regardless of cold weather. The course will be huge, E lot is quite large. This is new asphalt too, just completed this summer. I think this is worthy of a final 2010 Event.

After this event I will be removing the coilover's to send out for a service, all new seals and maybe some new valving rates. They are supposed to be serviced once a year, so I think its time since I am 3 years in.

Then next on my list is the Trans, who wants to swap out their 5 speed for my 6 speed again?

Mike, is Performance Shocks, Inc. doing your rebuilt? I know Ohlins no longer do it out of their own facilities.

Hmm, I'll have to look up the advantages of the six speed. My car does have a moderate 2nd gear lockout (>7k shifts). Could just be my shifting, but I would want you to test it first. If you plan to rebuild anyway, maybe it doesn't matter. A second gear syncro is probably $40?

would be a good opportunity to send the t-case out for a refresh... hmmm

What clutch do you have Kenny? I know the old ACTs had high rpm lockout issues.

My TC has 116k, and still original!

I'm not sure actually. I assume that it is the OEM clutch. Aside from the 2nd gear lockout, the car also makes some funky decel sounds.

Those two things have always made me wonder if the first owner put an ACT in.

The other option is that the noise is coming from the t-case.

decel noise is probably the TC... the only time a clutch 'should' make noise is when the pedal is pushed in and the disc(s) are floating. all other times the PP is clamping the disc to the FW and everything 'should' be nice and tight. I say 'should' because its not supposed to make noise, but these things happen. Occasionally my exedy twin will talk to me during a slow shift.

I would like to get setup on Iracing this winter. been talking about it for a couple years now...

I don't have anything else on my wish list because I'm an adult, so anything I need/want I can (with in reason).

I would like to find Luke a nice electric car/truck to drive around in. Haven't seen anything I'm really impressed with though as of yet.

mine sounds kind of like a BOV when disengaging while driving/shifting slowly.
