I would try changing the fluid first.

Did that. My last set of tires wore very uneven and I think I drove on them like that for a while. T-case oil was burnt looking

The decel noise has been there ever since I bought the car. I have a thread around here from two years ago asking what it could be

Is the decel noise chattery and only apparent on 50mph +? I'm looking to swap my 5 for a 6 just for slightly better cruising rpms. The car is a daily until 2014 and driving this thing on the highway irks me.

I have had my 6 puck for about 3 years, i have not experience the lock out issues that some have, and the only noise i get is the chatter noise at idle.

I have been very happy with it though, running it with their street light fw.

One of my biggest concert regrets was missing the Rage/Wu-tang back in '97 (I think). It was the show that the police were boycotting because RATM was supporting Mumia.

I think that I'm going to see Roger Waters do The Wall tonight. Even though I've seen him twice, I would never forgive myself if I missd this show. Especially if David Gilmour happens to show up to do Comfortable Numb. He agreed to do that song with Waters at one concert. Unnanounced of course. My money would be on one of the London shows, but who knows.

BTW I'm drinking my second pint of Founders Harvest Ale out of a Firkin. Score!

First off RAGE rocks! Second, my TC has been making decel nosie for as long as I can remember and nothing bad has happened. I'm pretty regular with my fluid changes (usually 5-6 times a year depending on how much I HPDE it). Wait till you get solid bushings and motor mounts if you think its bad now, lol.

From what he told me the reason for the price difference was because you told the guy on the phone your car was stock, or on stock suspension, so he quoted you as such for a stock car. The price they actually charged you was for a lowered vehicle, which he said yours was (stock struts with lowering springs). I don't know why there is a price difference between a stock height car and a car like yours with lowering springs, but what Vince told me was that he was the only shop in town to touch 'lowered' cars so that is why he charges what he does.

He was at SEMA all last week which might be why he didn't call you back. Still though, thats not cool that he told me he was going to call you and never did. I wish you would have said something about the charge before you left there. Are you atleast happy with the way the car drives? I hope my recommendation doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth...

i've come up with so many SMH thread ideas but i don't want to be known as the dude that XXXXX.

my best idea was about my backing the car into the garage and how badass it looked parked that way. i was tempted to make a SMH thread about that.....chu encouraged it but i couldn't.

honestly
car drives great they did a great job aligning the car. however they did what the shop near my work would do and listen to what i want and do it, but around $70
i know most of the shops in that area don't touch lowered cars, but then again i'm not from the area and had other options.
oh well while i do like the people there and everyone was nice, the alignment was a bit pricey for me. it won't steer me away from any of their other services however.

oh and i did ask the guy (bearded guy at front) about the price and why it was almost double what i thought it would be. he said it was because i requested a "race" alignment (all i said was i do alot of street driving but would like a setup to be good for competitive use too).
