Try the new XT series pads from RB. I've driven them on the road in 50' and rain. Good stopping , no squeal and the XT970s are good on the track

Well, its finally time to post a few pics.

My review

2012 328i. Love it. I have been talking about getting rid of the evo for awhile now, and finally decided to pull the trigger. After realizing that i wouldn't be able to be able to race as much as i wanted (or rather fear or driving the evo) and my commute tripled, I decided i needed something a little bit more comfortable.

Performance: Excellent. Is it faster than the evo, no. Is it more fun to drive, eh, that question is relative. In terms of raw capabilities, no it is nowhere near the evo. I feel that the car much more balanced than the evo. The evo felt very heavy in the nose while taking a turn, while the beamer feels much lighter. The car overall feels heavier than the evo, but more balanced at speed. I love this car on the highway, its just so smooth, and the power is right there when i need it. The evo was way to jumpy for me on the highway, anything over 45 mph and you felt like your flying in the evo. I can go 80 in the 328 and it feels like i am barley moving. With that being said, throw the car in sport or sport plus, and it feels like a totally different animal. The revs are super fast and pushes me back into my seat, and the shifts are like lightning. 8 forward gears seems like a lot, but the tranny is mated very nicely to the motor. The suspension is very comfortable. The ride is not harsh, and takes bumps smoothly, while also feeling very poised carving corners.

Interior: Awesome. I really love the heads up display and Nav. I never have to look at my guages, its great lol. The Nav system probably doesn't take me the best way to get to my destination, but i like not having to look at my phone every 5 seconds to see where i need to go. I did NOT order the red stripe, the dealer messed up my order. I ended up not minding it at all, and think it will eventually grow on me. The harmon kardon sound is insane. Really makes listening to music much more enjoyable. My elbo hurts from pumping my fists so hard (i kid... maybe not).

Performance: Evo
Handling: Evo
Balance: 328
Comfort: 328
interior: 328
styling: personal preference
Fun factor: Evo

So basically its whatever fits your needs. Ill be honest, i havn't really missed the evo that much. I'm sure i would be had i been racing more. But if your drive is over 5 miles and you don't have a dd, then i just don't think the evo is the car for you. I'm sure i will have another one someday, but for now i am very happy with the car.

i really like the front end of the new F30.

after having owned an e90, i don't think i'd compare it to the evo aside from how they are as daily drivers for long commutes.

They're my team dude. I don't mind the Eagles, I'll root for them other than when they play the Steelers. Gotta rep my PA sports teams!

It looks nice man. Definitely something more luxurious and practical for long commutes.
