CU, nice fakes. Take a picture of your car with your user name and date like for a sale post. I don't know when you took those pictures but I don't remember it being 102° recently.

So at this Rally yesterday at NJMP, I saw some of th worst driving ever. I am a Rally nobody, but I promise I would have been in top 3 yesterday or won that sucker. Seriously, rally tires on my car and it was over, shoot my Star Specs would have gotten it done!

Paging Justin, build a car for this Rally America and let me drive, I promise I will beat Ken Block and Tanner Foust when they show up or come close . Because non of the 18 competitors had much yesterday, ok maybe 3 guys were pretty good but the rest, OMG. The course was a no brainer, I was racing from the side lines!

Seriously though, horrible corner entry, late braking and totally blowing turn every time, Slow in fast out even in rally. Thai, late apex was in effect on 3-4 turns, for realz. Only 3 guys got it right out of 18, sheesh, I was frustated hollering at Peeps. These other spectators/ Nascar fans were like who the hell is this fool. I was breaking it down for everyone there, think I confused this fat dude.

That fat dude thought you were speaking chinese when you used the word apex.

Thai - I found an old tape of my laps of beaverun from years back in the sentra. I'll have to find the camera cable and pull it onto the laptop to post a few laps, but using the camera timer I was about a 1:14. 2700lb, fwd, 220whp car on 215 falken rt615's iirc. Turns 1 thru 7 are awesome and tight enough that I really had fun in that car. The long back "straight" and the front straight were a little boring. I also had crappy brakes, so I was braking early to keep the pads from fading (fluid and lines were good, just cooking pads). Turn 10 never felt quite right... still think that was costing me some time.

Fakes? I'll take one tomorrow that says "Honda-Guy loves hating" then post it. Does that suffice?

I took that pic today when my car was parked in the sun at the Cherry Hill Mall.

Continental ... Not sure of the exact model. I'll snap a pic in the AM & post it.

yeah, turn 1-7 is pretty fun. you can use a lot of curb but it's a bit bumpy. i was trying to go faster through turn 9 every session, try not to lift through there but i felt the car sliding a little at 120 mph through there, so i didn't want to push it. turn 10 was tough to get right, it's a decreasing radius turn so you can get on the gas early. my car rotated pretty nicely coming out of it. my brand new NT05 with full thread had a bit of tread squirm, turn in wasn't very sharp like i'm used to.

new Centric front rotors and CL RC6 pads up front. they perform flawless. i was surprise that after five 25 minutes session and 600 miles, the pads did not score the rotors at all. i can run my finger nail across the rotor and there no edge where the pad did not touch. i thought these pads would score the rotors up bad since they are sintered iron. i think these are my new favorite pads now. they are loud as heck when they are new, but after a track day, there weren't any noise driving home.

Seriously considering the CL6, but may go with the ST43's again as they seem to last forever.

Will driving on the street with CL's just destroy my rotors or what?

Pete, I like your signature.

Eleanor Roosevelt was secretly a lesbo, apparently, so that explains the butchy quote.

Fineberg sounds like a hardparker dishing out advise to the pros without ever even turning a wheel on the track. Just cause you played it on gt5 doesn't mean you can wheel the car like that IRL, brah. Come at meh!

At Njmp Lightning this morning with the Chuster gettin ready to dominate some jdm bimmerz. He is a contender to Nguyen the championship up in her. Holla!

i put about 600 miles on the car over the weekend, traveling and driving on track. rotor does not look scar from the pads at all. the sintered iron is very dense, so the pedal fell very firm. they are also made from high heat and pressure, so no bedding is required to cure the resin, just through them on and a do a couple slow laps to transfer material if you ran different pads prior. they are not as on/off is i thought they would be. i don't have abs and i have no problem modulating them. release was smooth and the pad didn't drop off performance at all. this was on street tires though. i'll see this week when i run at Thunderbolt on hoosiers.

I have never played GT5, I think the last time I tried game was GT3.
If you saw what I saw you would have agreed, but whatever. Your description is slightly accurate since I have not recently been on track and have a big mouth.

Mike, are you talking about the pro exhibition or the amateur rallyx races they have? From the videos ive seen, it look more like a demolition derby than rallyx with the amateur stuff.

Also maybe entering a turn where half of it is in dirt or grass different. I hear that one you hit the grass it's like hitting ice.
