Marc, did you buy a bolt-in one, or looking to build one?

I am looking to purchase a bolt in one. Bimmerworks has a 4-point Kirk bar for $475 that i want to buy but they don't answer their phones or emails. I was hoping to get that installed this weekend and bring the bimmer to NJMP on Monday, but it doesn't look like thats gonna happen.

white people problems!

Roll bars don't usually materialize overnight....so I think you are being a bit optimistic for having it done before Monday...

Check with S&W Racecars in Phoenixville.

well, I have been trying to get a hold of BW since Tuesday. I had a purchase lined up of a used one from a local last monday night, but that fell thru at the last minute. If Bimmerworks has them in stock I would drive there and purchase, then install over the weekend. Presto... magical roll bar installed! Problem is I can't get a hold of the ****ers to confirm that...

Stock pads should be fine for your first track day with the car, assuming you have enough material there. Fluid is more of a concern than pads, IMO.

I hope it is not permanent. Any recommendations as to where I can take my Evo locally for maintenance?

Are you talking just regular services? I use A&H Motorsports in Ivyland for all my daily driver maintenance stuff. Evan is a good dude...very trustworthy and honest (rare traits in the industry)...they specialize in the Japanese car varieties. If he can't help you, he probably can tell you who can.

I'm wondering if I get a discount on buying Affliction t-shirts and gold chains now.
