Import DPS has the best price I think. I'm on the fence about going with a twin disc. I just don't want to rebuild it every year. Its going to be fun putting that thing in. I think we should limit ourselves to 2 beers per hour during installation.

Good luck dude, I did 2 and swore I would never do it again after the first one..As for rebuilding it, mine is going strong with 40k on it and about 150 quarter mile passes on it..By far my favorite daily driver type performance clutch for the evo because you still have some modulation left..

Dan did you go with the hd or sd? I know SD's are harder to come by and usually more expensive..

Really? Is that an Exedy? That's much more acceptable. I just keep seeing people with 10K 20K and needing a rebuild. My pucked disc is getting incredibly grabby and noisy after a few thousand miles. It makes that horrible groan on engagement now, and the TOB is clattering like it's about to fall apart. I think I'm done with it and I want something that doesn't suck.

Yeah I have the hd.. And come one now, all these kids in evos, there isn't a clutch that cant be toasted! I also had my stock last 30k over 200 drag passes with some 11 second action, and it was only borderline slipping in 5th when I swapped it. It has more to do with how you drive then anything.

I will say a prayer the day you first attempt the evox clutch for you lol

Your twin is at 40k miles?! Do you drive it with stop-and-go traffic?

most people get 25k+ out of exedy twins. Quarter master twins your lucky if you get 12k out of them.

get quotes from vendors online and tell me what you find..I can almost guarantee SD will be more since no one buys in bulk like the hd..

Thats what I've seen. People get good amount of mileage out of the Exedy while the QM is the one that only last 10-15k.

Kittens you have the QM don't you?
