morning bishes... and a busy morning it is.

my understanding about the class points from talking to Steven L. & Bob G. is that this year they are dropping 4 events out of the 13. SO your best 9 finishes will count towards your total class points. In previous years there were only 12 events so 3 got dropped. I haven't confirmed any of this info with the higher ups yet, so its just speculation at this point. Maybe Mr.MR can confirm?

it looks like Kenny is in the lead for 3rd in BSP... Ben its time to step your game up son!

Remember however that those results are only inclusive of the first 10 events... the last event at the Link isn't included in the total.

you don't trust me ...
to give as an example
1997 Honda Accord
passenger side-I used pb blaster- sprays 5 times throughout a week, then tried loosening it- bolt snapped in half right inside the bushing.
after a year of being lazy and having it in my garage for that long i cut the bushing out (direct heat to melt the rubber and cut out the sleeve) i pressed a new one in with my fancy ghetto skills (wide washers and a bolt lol)

driver's side
heated the bolt head for about 45 seconds. removed the bolt without too much effort on my part.

I've never done them on the EVO before (evo8dad and LIP did them both times on my car) but I have done them on other cars and heat along with a big breaker bar (or using the handle to a jack) has always been the answer. BECAREFUL though, if its the bolt I'm thinking of, the 19mm horizontal bolt that goes thru the sub frame, you can actually break loose the retaining nut that the factory welded to the inside of the subframe causing a whole **** storm of issues. Good luck young grasshopper, and get rid of that Taiwan tools and step up to Made in China aka harbor freight style, lol.

Our boy Jeremy over on the other fourms closed the thread up, but not before I was able to clue him in on a little somethin special.

I guess he had to have the last word... wasn't it him who was talking about someone in this thread being childish, lol. I know he reads this thread now and I don't care.

I normally use craftsman, but the taiwan fit.better ...

I'm going to call rt tuning. Maybe ill try to contact evo8dad as well. Hoping I can get this all sorted before this weekend.

I'll probably try the heat route, but will try not to get too fresh with the bolt.

i'm not really known for my maturity so it was more like stating the obvious than actually an insult.
