i think dennis really likes the militec stuff.

when i looked at cleaners, it looks like a decent heated one would be around $500-$600 bucks. you would still need to wipe everything down, but my understanding is that it takes off a lot of the carbon and crusty stuff very nicely.

^^good call^^

you would just need to do a little research to see what solvent is firearms safe. ive used all sorts of stuff in them (cold solvent, diesel, mineral spirit) but never on firearms

from what i read, heat really helps loosen up the crusty carbon. there is special firearms solvent you can buy. the problem is finding one big enough to fit my revolvers in. those are the guns that would really benefit from a good cleaning since mag loads seem to be pretty dirty.

Detailing question: looking for suggestions on wax, nothing fancy but something maybe better than off the shelf. I haven't used sealant but have been reading about it and be willing to try if you think it is worthwhile.

Also need some good leather conditioner/cleaner. My seats feel so dry.

I have some legit leather cleaner/conditioner that I bought for Kate's car...you're welcome to give it a try to see if you like it.

Turcolu, I switched from wax last year and I used this stuff. I was very pleased with it, http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-seal.html . I used about 1/10th of the bottle on the car, have done 2 other cars with it as well, and still have 1/2 the bottle! I have heard of people doing this + wax, but that seems over kill to me....leather conditioner....I have not used any yet, as I have not found something I liked from previous cars.
