Holla. Like I said I'm rarely free, but I can try to be around Sunday nights or occasionally Fridays (though there's a lot better things we all could be doing on a Friday night). If I can't make it I can't make it, but it would be a shame for me to miss more meets so close by. That and I'll take any excuse to drive on Route 5.

I keep leaving bad impressions at meets don't i... lol

first meet "rawdog @ hooters" = I wore a George Carlin shirt that sez "simon sez go **** yourself" and, i was still all scruffy and ****, got to meet rawdog, majestic, and hooptie, and everyone else that was there KUDOS!!! loved being pinned to my seat by the speed, **** was awesome hooptie! lol

second meet "the last minute" one = that one i had shaved for and all... i cleaned up... ate some wings, drank a bit, got to know Chris... groovy guy , deff. will be chillin wit him again.


third meet "edgewater" = this one wasn't bad i think, but.... WHAT THE **** WAS I THINKING? SHORTS?!!! i mean, i was fine... i wasn't cold at all, only like... my top half was cold... gf was there, so was the kid. Got to meet the Hobie (FINALLY!!! HAHA) found out that it's... G - ROD... not GROD! got to see the sexiness that is EVO BBY upclose and personal, got to see the only lancer that's in a car cover 6 days a week (KUDOS FOR THAT BRO... car's looking hot tho, i like it ), cwest was there... dude... hehe, lovin the ride... but it broke my heart seeing all that dirt , ooh ooh, the silver, and yellow oz's... AIR HYDROLIX! dude... talk about a first impression that'll stick with me for a long time... and the *******s that tried to race... yeah haha...

all in all, i'm still a bit too shy... and yeah... blah

 

ill tell him to join the forum but i doubt he will ...he is the mayor's grandson of cliffside park by the way so i wouldnt go by the car they have a lot of cops on his block all the time because its the dead end where the mayor lives too lol ....i was going to go down but i fuigured damn if i go in a si saying whats up ill be mocked lol hopefully when maywood decides to give me a good price ill join the evo bandwagon via a tarmac black one .... peace

 

Don't bother going to Maywood as their prices are not great. In additon, they don't ship them from the port - they drive them (i.e. beat the crap out of them) to the dealership and they all have 30 or more miles on them.

 

Your crazy maywoods prices are the best around.... and i know cause i just bought from them... and my evo had 16 miles on it so i don't know what your talking about......
I went all around and Maywood was the only place not want over MSRP....
maybe you just had a bad experience..... and mine was a showroom car........

I'd deal with maywood again and would send my family and friends to deal with them

 

My friend and I went about a month ago and he wanted to purchase a new one, right then. It was a suturday evening and there was no one in the dealership. They would not go under $500 below sticker when many dealers are going near invoice and were quite rude. As you know they had a bunch in the showroom too.

 

well if maywood has this bad rep then does anyone have a suggestion ... how about the evo dealer on rt 46 ....i dont even want the sunroof or any special items like the shift knob or the trimming i just want the C/F wing ....so is anyone planning a second meet down there anytime soon ...when i passed by the other night i saw about 4 sti's parked by the last row at starbucks but no evo's
