OK, no wonder. Power gas. I thought it was a Exxon, shell or a sunoco.

From a business standpoint, this is an awful investment. I think you'd have greater success talking current gas station owners into adding E85, or persuading new stations to incorporate E85 into their plans.

E85 only is too much of a niche product right now. For a station to offer only one product, especially in this economy, just isn't feasible IMO.

But with that being said, good luck. I'm all for E85, and I'd be all over a conversion if it was more widely offered in NJ. As much as I'd love to have a station in central NJ, you'd have to think the smartest location is north Jersey, near the NYC market.

This ^^ and Routes 3 and 17 and don't limit yourselves to E85 alone. There has to be a variety of fuels available such as 87, 89 and 93.

I thought WAWA gas stations were going to offer e85 at all of the super WAWA's, but i guess that would only cover south nj.

Just stumbled on this and had to add my two cents. I've been looking at converting my car to run E85, because it's perfect for a turbo. The higher octane gives you more power, and even though you get less gas mileage, it's normally 50-60 cents cheaper than the 91+ octane that the turbo requires.

For those of you worrying about running out of gas with an E85 compatible vehicle: I've never heard of a vehicle that can only run on E85. All FlexFuel vehicles can run on any mixture of gasoline and ethanol up to 85% ethanol (hence E85). As far as I know, the high performance cars converted to E85 are the same way. An E85 compatible vehicle can use gasoline, just not necessarily vice versa.

I think this is a great idea, though, and I also think the area halfway between Philly and AC is perfect (namely, right off the Hammonton exit 28, on 54). Not only is it halfway between Philly and AC, but it's also half an hour from Atco Raceway and half an hour from New Jersey Motorsports Park. I would definitely make the half hour trip to fill up with E85. Especially for AutoX, but even for daily driving most of the time. 50-60 cents per gallon is a big difference worth going out of my way for. However, like others suggested, I would not recommend selling only E85.
