Q: Central NJ dealership experience?

Did anyone buy from Brad Benson Mitsubishi on R-1 in Monmouth jct or Freehold Mitsubishi on R-9 in Freehold?
I'm interested in what the experience was and how are you satisfied with the service department.
Thanks!

I went to Brad Benson during the end of August beginning of September. They supposedly just got a new shipment of evos and they had about 12. So they immediately stuck a dealer to me. So he was nice enough, asked me if there was a possibility of me buying it that night. I had a decent down payment and I heard plenty of people on the boards at the time were getting their evos for 28 - 30. So I figured if i got a good deal I'd get it. So we went for a test drive and he gave me a price of 32800 before tax, title, etc. So I walked out of the dealer because they wouldn't go any lower. They were a nice enough dealer to me, just make sure you get a good price on whatever you get. They have a tendency for going high in the price department. My friend went for an oz and ended up going to another dealer because they wanted too much for it. SO out of this novel you should get: Friendly enough dealers, lets you test drive, usually over-charges. Hope this helped...

Freehold Mitsu sucks! Stay away from them at all costs! The only reason I would go there is to test drive the cars, because they will actually let you do that. On my test drive, the salesman was beating the **** out of a car with only 100 miles on it- and then they wanted me to buy it!

Bell Mitsubishi in Rahway is the ****. I would reccomend going there too.

me too. at Bell. They rock. they even sell RMR parts that they say will not void warranty. I am personal friends with both owners and they are willing to deal. so long as u are reasonable so are they. Don't go in there all cocky and don't expect them to bl*w you and you will get a fair deal. Bell south are not so cool go to rahway. 5 mins away

I'm pissed as hell with Bell I got mine there in May... Paid MSRP for it plus some bull**** add on fees that I had no idea what they were.. They went to Long Island to get my Blue by You before they had any, and charged me a locating fee and all this other bull****. I asked them to come down even a little bit and they wouldn't do anything.. They got me really good on the interest rate too, to make more money... I'm not happy with them at all. They knew I was interested and they took me for all I had. I had a $1000 deposit with them when I tried to withdraw it and get my money back they said no and threatened to keep my money.. Then they knew I was forced to buy with them... I'm very very unhappy with them... Here's all my info on the deal of the car... A the time it wasn't bad but compared to now in the long run I'm looking at a $5000 loss over 72 months compared to the prices now... $5000 down 72 months 4.7% APR at MSRP payments $461 per month. Boy did I get taken for... But I still love my Evo... I'll never take it ot them to get serviced ever.
