you're fine in white, but you might belong in red or black... its easy to get bumped up if you're in too slow of a group.

This sounds great.

I have no track experience and looks like some events @ Limerock fit the bill.

Dates Saturday Apr 9
Host PCA - Hudson Champlain
Type Driver School
Price $200

This is an event for beginner and novice drivers wishing to get Lime Rock track experience. Each of the three run groups, Green (all drivers instructed), Yellow (a mix of instructed and solo drivers) and Red (all instructors), are scheduled for 4 (four) 20-minute on-track sessions staggered throughout the day. For additional information go to www.hcp-pca.com or contact Jim Morgan, Registrar, at registrar@hcp-pca.com.

Im going with PCA as well to NJMP thunderbolt in March and April . Signed up for Black Group. Then Im going to Watkins Glen in May and July with PCA and BMW clubs. All events 2 days each.

Lime Rock is nice, but short and noise restrictions are not worth the hassle. Furthest I drove was to Mid-Ohio, without AC, radio and racing seat pulling a small trailer with wheels and tools, in the middle of July. +- 10 hour drive each way GOOD TIMES !!!!!!!!!!

^Is the black group instructors or is that the red group? I'd like to have an instructor, preferably someone who drives an EVO, ride with me for a little on Saturday just to shake the winter dust off and make sure my head is on straight.

I think the Red Group are the instructors.

Yes Im going to
1) Thunderbolt with PCA - Schattenbaum March 19-20, then again with them in April 21-22.
2) Watkins Glen with PCA - Allegheny May 14-15,
3) Watkins Glen with BMW CCA - Delaware Valley Chapter - July 13-14

Bought a house 5 months ago, so Im on a very tight budget when it comes to track days All events are paid for, so I doubt I will attend anything else except for what is listed above (((

Glad I will spend 4 GLORIOUS days at the Glen this year

I should be in Red as I don't instruct with PCA. They may start us all in low groups as there is plenty of vehicular discrimination out there.
