Wow really?? this is gonna be awesome.

Lets get a final count closer to it of everyone who is coming and how many people they are bringing, so that everyone knows how much of each thing to bring! ( wouldn't want to bring 16 buns if there is gonna be 30 people heh)

I am 99% sure I will be attending, unless something radical happens with work.

I will be coming from the Middletown area with a few other Evos as well.

Yea, we should update the 1st post with whos coming and how many. If enough people are in...maybe more then one person can bring burgers, dogs, buns, drinks. Hell, I might even need some assistance on the grill trying to feed everyone...

Hey guys,

This sounds like a fun meet. I look forward to it, however I have some concerns. Depending on how large the group is, I wonder if we are going to need a permit, or permission from the Bear Mountain Park Rangers or Park Police to hold this BBQ/cruise meet? Being that on the many past occasions I've seen, police have been hostile to us import car owners when we roll through town I want to make sure that they know we're coming. I'd hate to get harassed and asked to leave.

I bring this up because a few years back my church had a obtained a permit to host a sunday afternoon outdoor BBQ there once with about 300-400 attendees and we still got harassed by the park rangers. Even though we were waving the permit papers in his face and mentioned that everything had been arranged in advance with his boss...he still gave us a tough time.

Just throwing my ideas out there, but anyhow I hope to attend.

Is this our initial starting point? Or are we going to meet down here somewhere and then drive up to there?

There also can be multiple meet points for different areas and then we can all rendezvous at one spot and we go from there... , just thinking out loud...
