Wilson, maybe you can shed some light on the permit situation. Do you think we would need one? I mean really doubt we would be anywhere near even 100 cars.......50 is probably even a stretch.

Well, this event is going to take place in May, which gives people an extra month or so to find out about this BBQ meet. Also, bear in mind that people might just show up at the last minute, or unannounced.

In addition keep in mind that if this day turns out to be a beautiful day that a lot of people will probably head up to Bear MTN for the day (remember Bear MTN is only an hour drive away from NYC as NYC peeps might end up escaping the city for a day) and I know parking is limited also, so someone would need to get there extra early to hold some spots for the rest of the attendees. In this case if we could get a permit (if its required) then we can try to get the Park Rangers to assist us with holding down some parking spots.

we do a few runs up and down the mountain then go back 2 exits to Anthony Wayne recreation area which has enough parking for a millions cars plus plenty of picnic tables and grills.

Well parking went up yet again. Last year it was $5. I just looked on the website which now says $8...Bastards.
Definitely look into a permit or something. I know they have a back parking lot right next to some bbq stands and tables. Maybe rent out that parking lot or something. 845-786-2701. Someone give them a call and check into the meet. I know in the past the tristate evo crew was kicked out for one reason or another. And it wasn't a large group at all. Definitely less than 100, probably less than 50. I also know every Wednesday night is a huge muscle car show with vendors and food and the whole legit deal. So it can be done but needs to be done the right way.

+2 on this because I do not mind spending the money for entry fee in order to get the required permit and get a good reputation for us all and be able to do an event like this over and over again.

You can bring anything you want, bring more burgers if you'd like. Since it might be a large crowd, we can double up on items

I have a tiny grill that i could bring but we would need like 10 of them to feed everyone lol. We might also need some folding tables and chairs if anyone has. This way we can sit down and relax after getting tired of eating
