I've been noticing a lot of Jersey Lancer owners around here.

Hell, I've been noticing 3 new Lancers in my apartment complex since I bought mine.

I think we've all got to get together and have ourselves a time at Raceway Park or something. Put some rubber down.

What say you?

 

I'm from central jersey. hehe. My car is stock. Don't got much to put anything right now. My first performance mod would be a strut, but they are still over my budget. But, anyhow, it sounds awesome.

I don't see many lancers around. I'd be lucky if I saw one a day. I gloat with smile whenever i see a lancer.


Why is it that I see old ladies in lancers

 

I know the feeling, man. I shot past some older lady in an identical Lancer to mine the other day near my Wawa.

And mine's stock too. I'm too worried about 1) getting money to do things and 2) where to get them done.

Oh yeah, and not voiding my warranty.

 

Elizabeth Nj here....i know there's a couple lancers in elizabeth, one right across the street, a stock ES that some old spanish lady drives. anyway, there are a couple of us from NJ on here. I think we should all meet up at seaside sometime this month, or next but soon none the less. I have an intake, exhaust and some cosmetic mods. If you guys need help, this board is the place to be. Just make sure you search for your answer before asking questions, becuasee that happens a lot with n00bs.

See, I'd like to do some cosmetics at least, but every time I see something I like, I see "Not for the ES." It's like I'm the poor, *****-slapped brother.

Seaside would be easy, that's a hop skip and a jump for me down the ACX. I'm just outside of Philly.

Whenever's fine for me, considering I have 3 day weekends for the summer. Gotta love being a State Employee.

 

Mine's black. I haven't seen that one yet, but that's prolly the one I see in Ft Lee a lot. Also a white one...dunno anyone in the area (personally) who has a Lancer.

yeah, i need about two weeks for my car too.

anyone here installed a strut on your car? how much does it help? wanna get it if it's worth it. don't know what to get first. dash kit? fog lights? strut? intake? exhaust? system? man... this is so hard.

Cornering would be nice, but I don't do that much in South Jersey. More straight driving.

 

i'm actually interested in how the strut thing works. to me, it just looks like it adds more weight to the front on the car. i don't know...
