I was curious to see how many Evo owners were in the Philly area, too. I *may* buy a new car this year and I'd seriously consider the Evo.
If anyone in the Philly area has a modded Evo, especially, I'd love to go for a ride.
Right now I have a VW GTI-VR6. The exhaust note is pure sex, and the car is nice, but it's not fast enough for me any more.
For this reason, I am also considering the R32. Sure, it's tougher to mod (and more expensive), but I dig the exhaust note.

I'm not too far away in Newark, DE. Meanmud and I have the exact same setup. We're both adding HKS cams this month (Stage 1+). We're participating in a Vishnu tuning session at the end of the month. I'd be up for an Evo get together, as soon as it's a little warmer.

If you're in the northern DE area, you can check out my car. It's making 310whp right now, but that will increase to around 330whp on Jan. 31. I too love the sound of the VR6 (former GTI owner), but the Evo's acceleration is just sick. It doesn't have the VR6 sound, but with a 3" straight through exhaust and HKS cams, it's a mean sounding 4 cyl.

Sounds like King of Prussia may be a good starting point, as far as a central place to meet? Let's wait for a warm weekend, and try to get some interest.
Marko, congrats on your purchase today! You may want to consider taking that synth stuff out for 3K miles. Put some Dino stuff in and change every 1K miles while it breaks in - IMO.
Also, watch those Advans in the cold and snow!
