late night fun drive in north nj

anyone know of any good runs in the area? preferably twisty, less populated and no curbs. driving on highways and straights are just too boring. i usually go up to the mountains in kinnelon but that area is still a bit too residential even late at night. please dont give me any "save it for the track" replies because i drive well within my comfort zone. i just want to drive some fun roads in the winter before autox season begins in the spring. thanks

I live in Verona.

I love Montville. Great back roads. I also love lin. park. I Would like to explore Montville more. Really nice back roads. I feel like I'm rallying on tarmac

My favorite roads are 17A from Tuxedo, NY to Greenwood Lake, NY. A drive through some incredible mountain twisties..with a posted speed limit of 55 MPH in most parts (most people don't reach that). There are also some neat roads close by in Warwick, NY and Vernon, NJ. Most roads up there are two lane roads with 55 MPH speed limits, with nice bends. However, I got a ticket up there, so be careful as instant-on radar is used in those vicinities.

NJ really sucks.
Joel, I'm still interested in seeing those roads you mentioned but I don't drive my Evo in these crazy temperatures...

I go joyriding and always forget what road I end up getting on. I know of a few good ones in central NJ (like Canal Road) but none in North NJ. We should start a database cataloguing all the good driving roads in the Northeast.

BPAuto, where in central NJ are you? I'm down by Princeton and almost everything here is filled up with cops and flat/residential. I didn't go too much west tho.
