Nah actually I think it would thank me for the love and attention it gets. Funny thing is, a few weeks ago, I parked next to a WW MR at a meet, and my car was actually getting more props than the actual evo. Yet everyone thought it was an evo so I had to deny them and let em know, that the car next to mine is actually the evo. they were shocked and didnt believe it. Maybe its the wheels, maybe the cf hood, maybe the cf trunk? Idk but it happens all the time.
Just didnt know evo owners were such jerkoffs that wont even show love to the lower trims. I can bet that guy was furious my gts was getting the oohs and aahs. And just an fyi my halos and grille led were off at the time so yea

i went ahead and bolded the things you said that were either irrelevant, stupid, ignorant, or immature. please see above and then please see below descriptions.
A) more props than an evo/thinking your car is an evo: This means you were feeling all awesome getting compliments from the very people you insulted on EvoM for not knowing the differences. Good, that makes sense.
B) Wheels, CF hood/trunk: Fast and furious. The majority of people dont do those "upgrades" on EvoM because many times the CF is actually heavier than the stock hood, therefore spending money to add weight/decrease performance. Good, that makes sense too.
C) Evo Owners being Jerkoffs: I believe it was You who was saying not all NJ owners are herraflush and dirty etc etc but then here you are using a blanket generalization about evo owners (if it wasnt you who said that then I apologize and please skip to D). I wave at Ralliart and Lancer owners all the time, and rarely if ever get a wave back. Do I think all non evo drivers a d-bags? no, I think most drivers of any car are, but I still give the courtesy.
D) I can guarentee, with 100% confidence, that the owner of the evo did not give 2 ***** about the looks you were getting from high school boys and tweenage girls. He has a performance oriented car, he was prob laughing at your neon.
E) Its your car. Its your money. I am of the mentality that as long as the car brings a smile to the owners face, then it is all good. But 99% of this forum is performance based, not looks (1% herrstupid crowd). So if you post your car online for public veiw, expect to get compliments and criticism. Since your obviously butthurt, I suggest you remove the pictures of your car and just enjoy what you have. Literally, no one, including myself, cares. Quite frankly im happy you did it to a lancer, makes evo owners look better.
Oh and PS: the majority of people who are into performance cars wanted an evo. Just because they decided for whatever reason a ralliart/lancer was a better car for them (family, weather, insurance, gas, commute etc), most, NOT ALL, but most would prefer to have an evo if other factors were removed.
I really nissan 370z, i could totally afford and enjoy a GTR, but nah the 370 is a better car.....Right....For many reasons prob makes more sense, but dont act like your car is the ish, esp with neon bro.

Edit, btw. Non one cares you have a "built Audi". Nice name drop tho. many people here have exotics and other cars as well but enjoy the evo/lancer/ralliart for what it is. So please keep you comments to show how bad@ss of a track guy you are, to youself.

Never said my car was performance, never stated any of my mods were performance based. Never did I get excited about my car getting looks. Never did I imply my a4 was anything special. Just stated I have a car I can go enjoy without the lownslow etiquette. Never did I say point C. And hey I always wave and give a thumbs up to evo drivers, despite their actions afterwards.. Simply because I love seeing a nice ride, whether its dressed up or not. As for point D... I specified that, that night I was next to the evo my car was completely off. No led grille, no halos, nothing. As for the last point, I know the forum is performance based and no one gives a sh*t about looks, but remember our lancers arent the performers of the mitsu family and we know that, so thats why we went with show vs go. No one was butthurt. Just as you all expressed your opinions about our riced out Cars, I voiced my opinion on evo drivers. So it seems you all were more butthurt than anything because I called some of you out. Now I do admit it was my fault for generalizing and my apology there, as some of you have stated not to do as per my assumption. When it comes down to it, my car may not be as fast as all of your evos, but im totally content with that and never tried to mock an evo. I like that my car is flashy and ive strayed away drom the whole evo look, just picked up new wheels to get rid of the bbs and going back to a stock front bumper without the front lip.

Umm nope. Not every lancer owner is dying for an evo. Actually I went out looking for a gts even though I had the funds for an evo, but I need a DD car that can get driven 100 mi per day without breaking my bank account. Besides I have a built a4 for the purpose of fun and track. So your assumption just made you a bigger douche. Congrats! And complaining about evos? Nope, was just putting out my observation based on the posts I saw. I used to admire evo drivers but then as time went by, every evo id see drive by id give them a thumbs up or wave or something to acknowledge their dope ride and theyd answer by peeling out on me or cutting me off. I didnt ask to race, I was merely giving em props for a clean ride. Besides, I, unlike some of the people on an evo forum, actually know my differences between evos, ralliarts, and gts' simply from the outside lololololol

Funny stuff. This is the exact reason why I dont respect any of the evo owners in jersey when I see em. No regard for other enthusiasts even if they have a dope whip. Instead feel the need to plurge their BOVs and show off. Ok yea we know you're the sh*t in your evo, props to you, and we never tried to be, nor did we say we have evos either, but funniest part is.. You still broke ur neck to look at my whip, then realize its just a regular lancer and you instantly have to 1up by being a douche with your evo. I know some may not agree with ridiculous stance, stretched tires, or even the headlight angel eyes, but when it comes down to it we do what we like with our lancers, just as you do with your evos. The problem everyone on here has with outlandish appearance mods is it's like HEY EVERYBODY, LOOK AT ME. RIGHT HERE. YES. HERE, WITH THE LIGHTS BLINKING IN MY GRILLE, I WANT TO GIVE YOU A SEIZURE. HOLD STILL. 9.9999/10 times, simple and subtle has more of an impact that obnoxious rainbow parts everywhere and flares and lights and other crap.

hmmmm were all mitsubishi owners right?? whether or its an evo or lancer or eclipse or whatever we all have different ideas on what is fun and what to do with our rides.This is AMERICA and thats what makes this country great is that anyone can do what they want to do with their cars
