Can you get off your high horse already? Jeez. Thats kind of what I was referring to. I already said your car is faster than mine and its an evo. But I cant say anything nice about most of you because youve given me nothing to base it off. Ive specified that my car is customized to my liking and ur critique is welcomed. And yes im talking people, like you, per se. im done trying to be cool with and make friends cause seems you all are too good for any/everyone else.

 

Wow.... Crazy to see how this community is. That's why I don't affiliate with anyone or anything. I personally have a IX MR, i actually think the white Lancer looks pretty dope. I love performance, but a car that stands out, I respect that as long as the driver is respectable. I've owned a Honda, and STI's, WRX's and driven beater trucks, no reason to ever hate on a car(openly like all these posts) as long as the owner loves and respects his car. We are all here and have our cars for the same or similare reasons.

There is a difference between hating on a car and letting someone know it's not your taste. Be respectful, I may not love your neons or I may not love your giant Voltex wing, but I'm not going to put you down for it. Maybe on my own time in my own discussion, but come'on guys? Imagine posting your pride and joy or in this case having it posted and seeing people put you down. That would feel pretty bad.

I'm not saying be a little pansy about it, but this is a forum. There is a -Show and Shine- section, there are Aggressive Fitment and Slammed threads. Not everyone has to just be about performance. Im building my car as a fun weekend warrior, but for shows, the car will be sitting RIGHT on a wide set of wheels. So what's the problem?. We all want to be the same? Let's all just keep our cars cosmetically stock and have meets? Cool !?

I'll probably get flamed for this but i honestly don't mind. I'm going to fight this ignorant narrow minded bickering. If your cool, I'm cool. Everyone who is a respectful enthusiast deserves respect themselves, no matter the car.

I feel as though neither side is right, but in the same instance, neither is wrong, these assumptions, accusations come from somewhere, so let's make a change, not your taste, ask a question, "why the extreme camber and stretch? Can't find a reason for it?" or just click on another thread, there are millions. Are you so great that you have to voice your down putting opinion on the interwebs..?

I was one of the folks who asked for that thread to remain on the board; previous efforts of the kind were deleted. Would you like to know why I/we wanted the thread? It's because the 'net makes it difficult to tell who's whom. Since the stanced thread, the number of silly posts on the Suspension board has decreased exponentially.

As for the rest of your post, you seem to be gauging all this via some showcar metric, which would be fine and dandy if this were a showcar forum. But, it's not. It's a board populated by folks who care about cars, not fashion, so please understand the entertainment value provided by those whose idea of an automobile holds the same constraints as a matching purse.

I think a lots of us thinks a same way about you now. I do not felt for a second, you have any respect and friendliness towards others besides yourself, according to this thread.

i responded to your generalized comments. Which makes me wonder about your status towards Evos in general. If the White look like Evo lancer is yours , i even more confused if your statement is true, when you said you had enough money to get one...

if you dont want to be an evo why you made it like you do?

The Evo gets according to others equal amount of hate form other cars. Funny thing is i never experienced that. I truly believe that is always the owner and never a car.
BUT that is also true, the car most of the times reflects the owner....
Good examples are the Pimps or the Ricers.

 

Lmao and i never had a problem with that. Its my car, whatever it is, however it looks, I like it and that's all that matters. Just as I'm totally fine with all of you saying I drive rice etc you shouldn't have a problem when i call you douchebags. Its your opinion of my car, and that's my opinion of you all. Simple. see , i actually like your car. I would use a different tires but that is me( that is might be a give away here). I dont think the car is rice. I have a problem with the attitude not the car. Just as i said before, never a car its the owner.

 

Nope mine is the black one with halos. And when i first got the car, I got the wheels and hood for a steal, 800 for both, so I said why not. Nothing else on my car says Evo.. as a matter of fact, I have a "notanevo" decal. and with regards to the Evo drivers, that was from my real life experiences with evos. How they absolutely have to peel out or plurge their bov to us lancer owners.. nothing relative to this thread at all, but now that I think, it seems the evom guys are prob those exact ones that feel the need to 1up on n/a lancers -.-
