hey, me and my friends are huge wrc fans but can't get out to any wrc events. this summer we wanted to hit up an scca rally and were also planning a road trip to maine. anyone been to the maine forest rally? just wondering if its worth the 8 hour drive to go to and chill out and watch and stuff, if it's a big event at all. otherwise i might check out a pennsylvania rally or something, like susquehannock trail or sawmill clubrally. i obviously know nothing about the events so if you know anything please let me know, thanks.

 

Any trip to Maine is worth it, it is truly one of the most beautiful states in the U.S.

I've been to the winter '02 rally and the summer '03 rally and if you've never seen a rally Maine is a great place to see one and will make a heck of a vacation if you like camping and hiking.

Search the evolutionm.net board for maine forest rally as well as the www.nasioc.com and you'll see all the pictures and video from this past summer's event.

Also check www.maineforestrally.com for updates, they cancelled this years winter rally because the new owner's of the land wanted to see what the impact on the land was. But the site mentions that the summer 2004 rally is still on
