Susquehannock trail performance rally (Pennsylvania)

Anyone want to go to a rally event in Pennsylvania? I believe this event goes other places, but on June 1 and 2 it will be in the Susquehannock state forest and Tioga state forest. I just found out about this event from a friend that will be going. It looks like a lot of fun, oh and its free There are VIP tickets for 50$ per day, which give you special sections to view from and 'free' food. Oh and a special Subaru show at the end.

You can find more information here http://www.stpr.org/stpr12/index.html

I plan on going on Saturday the 2nd. The forest is close to Cherry Springs state park, where I will be staying, which is one of the darkest ares of Pennsylvania. So its great for viewing the night sky and the milky way! It's stated that is so dark the milky-way casts a shadow. Not sure if that's entirely true though.

This is close to the New York Border so if anyone is around the area you should come check this event out!

That sounds like a lot of fun

I would love to go but I don't know about spending money on gas to drive more than 5 hours away

Take lots of pics for us, EvoM members

It's about a 3 hour drive for me, but I'm making a weekend out of it with Cherry Springs Park So it will be worth it. The wife said it sounds like fun, but she wants to drive in it

Also I plan on taking a lot of photos, with one of the carlisle auto shows last year around my place, they had a drifting event. There weren't too many people that actually knew how to do it, but this one mustang was amazing, had some great shots of him!

Nice! What day are you guys going? I'm still unsure if I want to get the VIP tickets or not...The sections that they take you, that will be a spot for VIP buyers wont be just specific to you. Since its a state park they can't really mark off sections to certain people.

Actually I was looking at the photos I took, and I saw the website at the bottom of the car, athletesforchrist.net. So I went and looked for the driver, his name is actually Chris Allen

Also I'll post some photos I took of the drifting event. Sadly it was so packed that I could only get one angle of stage, so most of the photos were the same haha. Oh and of course some of my favorite cars from the show!
