Tuner in Tristate area

Just would like to hear some reviews of the tuners in the area

Apparently my car was tuned at ivey tune and made 315whp@ 20psi. I'm going to be buying some new parts (3.5 ETS Intercooler and LICP and UICP, Spooling up coils and maybe a snow meth kit)

debating if I should go back for a retune or somewhere else

Thanks

I have currently

HKS 264's
oem Evo 8 Turbo
10.5 hotside
hallman mbc
Greddy type RS(would like to switch to something else) Tial?
Map open o2 dump
unknown downpipe
unknown cat.
perrin catback ( might be swapping to JIC TI)

theres like 10 threads asking basically the exact same thing. Please search. Do you like the way the car is running now? If so, go back to Ivey. If not consider getting a etune

Search funtion is useless on this site and comes back with things that are compleatly irrelevant. Even if there is 10 threads open for the same thing I'm sure everyone cars are different.

I would go back to Ivey and go For a Retune. Make sure you address what is it you want Power Wise out of the car and any issues the car might have like the "Stalling issue". A lot of people make the mistake of just walking in for a tune and not saying what there looking to get. Sean with the Years of experience he has he will give you a safe tune based on what the car at the time can handle on a Day to day basis. I highly Recommend not running meth in the long run your better off saving your money and just upgrading to a turbo that suits your Goals E85 will get you their also. If you feel you want to take your buisness else were you have CBRD & Peteturbo Tuning out of Krazy House Customs Dont forget STM up North.

Little bit of a hike (2hours) what do they charge for a Tune? I Imagine you had your car worked on by them.

Honestly I'm very cautious of shops anymore I've delt with two, East Coast Supercharging (blew up my Corvette and ended with very bad terms) and a shop for my friends nissan in DE I forget the name bad experience also

Yeah I think I'm gonna ditch the meth, I might call Sean again do they have a special rate for returning customers?. E85 is hard to find in NJ so I'd have to stick with 93. I'd like to make around 400whp on stock turbo if that was possible

Depending on where you are in Jersey & if you want to go somewhere new, I would suggest Petey @ Krazy House Customs or Chad @ CBRD. Or as you said before go back to Ivey.

Iv had my Car tuned by Sean since 2007 and he has also been tuning my GF evo aswell he's always taken good care of both are cars. Im also an Admin for a local evo Club and have recommend cars to him as well. Ivey Technolgys also offers Discounts for Returning Customers. E85 you can find at a Gas Station near Newark Air Port. Most of the guys on our Forums are heavly Ivey Tune and Peteturbo you cant go wrong with either or the others mentioned.
