Any tips on practicing heel-toe? Seems rather difficult on the X. That and I'm a n00b.

Dude, like me upshifting in your car? I cannot believe the level of suck I demonstrated driving Bobertos car, it was pitiful. I am embarrassed I got in it like I was going to show him something. At end of run I basically said do not do anything I just did, it was terrible. I cannot drive on street tires or an SST trans, pitiful driving.

I will say I found letting off gas and going for brake different. There is no engine braking for a split second unlike a stick, reminds me of my diesel truck. Car was 4-5' ahead of where I wanted it to end up every turn. I need a few events to get used to that. Lesson learned, I can help people more from the passenger seat than drivers seat.

Robert next event I want to ride along again, I can be a better Autox instructor than this past Sunday.

Sounds good Mike. I'll have to post the video, that was funny. My time was as good as your bad run. I have lots to learn.

Just don't be like this a-hole instructor who was helping out this Silver Escort.
Hmmm... wonder who that was that gave me a point by in a set of turns they told everyone not to pass in.

i've driven a few evo x before and can heel-toe fine in them, although the pedals are farther apart and the brake pedal doesn't line up with the gas pedal during hard braking. it's harder for evo x but not impossible. get larger aftermarket pedal cover, they help.

I watched until the train up the esses. I hate instructors use their hands or point at **** the whole time. The driver isn't watching the hands of the passenger.
