So I noticed on TireRack's website that the StarSpec is labeled as "Closeout"... This has me hoping for one of two things.

A) They go on sale for cheap as a closeout tire should (they haven't yet).

B) The new version will be out in the spring.

Hopefully that ish will go on sale for cheap!

There were some hearsay that the Spec II will not be available that early. So this looks like that may change. Wonder how much the Spec 1 prices will go down with the way they sit now compared to initial released. I'd be buy 1-2 sets myself depending on price.

As an IT professional, I can vouch for this. They seem to hold up really well. Probably not as good of a wet tire compared to the Dunlops though.
