I hear Shep's quality has gone down a bit lately due to the large workload, and Shep not personally building each piece. I've heard good things about Jacks, but they're not as popular on here. I've asked Shep and Jacks questions and bought thing from them before. Quick resonses and very helpful form both.

after driving a BMW with the stoptech kit I am seriously thinking about adding that to the M3 this winter. the stopping power with hawk pads was nothing short of amazing. and since in NASA you can do the fronts and rears for the same 2 points its a pretty decent gain.
I'm not sure Marc.

ASP and SM pax are so close I don't think it makes sense to demod from T-SM to T-ASP. It's almost all the same. Now, removing cams to drop to a real class like STU does make sense, because then you start running a nationally recognized class instead of these catch all lazy tire changer classes

Pete - run STU...

Fair warning: Luster may be running more Philly events next year, since he has moved farther north recently. STU be ware. In fact, T-SM/SP beware, in case I convince him to come ruin your party

don't switch the subject... I'm not talking about to losing power, I'm talking about you opening up your motor to remove a part so you can run a softer pax. thats a b!tchass move, son. No ice cream for you!

the front LSD is a good idea. are you going to add a FSB too?

I can't compete against that dude... He's on another planet as far as I'm concerned. I would absolutely run T-SP/SM if that were the case.

Chu, pretty sure I'm gonna go with Jacks, just thought I would put that out there..

Aaron, the competition will be welcome. Its always good comparing yourself against better drivers.

I doubt Pete will run STU. he can't stomach running against my slow *** in SM, I doubt he'll go for running against a national level driver in STU. BURN!!!

Didn't plan on it. I thought SB's and soft(ish) springs were a bad idea

My budget for this winter is already higher than I'd like, I can't keep adding that many more things unless I get a part time job. Bad enough I'm not sending out my Bilsteins now.

That's definitely the rear...

I _almost_ did the ST-40 Trophy kit all around...decided the money was better spent on other mods...(namely seats/harnesses/bar).

I wasn't suggesting you add a FSB. Just figured while you're in there with the driveline out it would be a good time to do that, if you wanted to go that route.

If it was an easy task I would yank mines out. I think that is where some of my understeer is coming from. I may actually do that much later on down the road, but first i want to see how the car performs with the different suspension.

That's always the case. Don't you have an extra set of Billies?

no doubt.

I am playing with the idea of either doing the BBK or just getting those remanufactured calipers I told chu about. Gotta see how my points shake out first. As it stands now I'm quicker in the M3 on 255 street tires than on 235 Nt-01's, so I am wasting 4 points by running them.

Correct, I have a spare set in the basement. Didn't really plan on having to get my trans rebuilt though..

I think you just have to scrub those Nitto's in and get used to the way they feel.

Not sure if you fools run them or not, but Cusco makes an adjustable FSB bracket. It lets you go one step softer or two steps stiffer on whatever bar you are running.

I also heard a rumor that Ciro Racing (Rick Jung) is planning to make a set this winter. I'd wait to see what he does, as it is usually a quality product.

I DDed the Evo all day err day. After the 4th year or so, I did begin to long for a more comfortable car. Wish I didn't have to let it go, but it wasn't getting the use it deserved anyway.

Two things:

1) I'm worried about what Marc is doing.

2) Pam has a pretty low smoke point and will burn off of brakes pretty quickly.

You're welcome.

if you're quicker on street tires than rcomp, then you're driving like a retard. FACT
