that's just the balance shaft cover. you can cut that out and save some weight. time to get 2.6L stocker for that block.

Going with the new 3.0L conversion... Using aluminum foil to line the cylinder walls. Mad weight savings!

^ if you go with air cooled, then you'll save weight on radiator and coolant also

Already tossed it... also getting rid of awd system, running 4 spare tires, need only 1 drive axle, making it a convertible, and dont need front brakes...e-brake only. Shooting for 1750lbs with driver.

P.S. I will also fast for 2 weeks before each race, I will also be wearing carbon fiber underwear and carbon fiber flip flops!

so do you guys think the ciro designs camber plates are worth it? basically, is being able to add caster past the 3.5 degrees im at now worth it, or should i spend the $300 on something else? my stock camber bolts are allowing a swing up to -2.5...as long as they aren't seized.

That's my first time hearing -2.5 of camber on the stock bolts. For the money, I would look at the car overall and see if there's anything more necessary. The Energy Suspension kits is cheap and goes a long way for handling.

when i had an alignment this summer, the guy told me that while the one side was seized, he was able to get up to -2.5 on the other side, i believe he even gave me a printout proving it ill have to double check. i dont wanna go full poly, just gonna do bump steer bush and probably trailing arm for now.

maybe the holes were opened up by the previous owner since Smike was involved in the setup...

the only other thing i can think to use the money for is a radiator.
