Very nice. I'll have two cameras soon, one GP2, and then a GP3. Because why? Because Not A Pro.

 

i saw that on FB. looks like it only start/stop video recording from phone, there's already apps from the camera's manufacture out for that. now, if he can integrate or overlay data from the phone on to the GP video while it's recording, that would be worth while but i don't see how that can be done.

The initial test that he showed there was only preliminary and did not have all of the features the full release would. Harry said it would sync with the lap timer data and sync with iPhone video too...so you can have multiple cameras synched.

 

^ if that could be done, then its definitely worth it. I worked with harry before when trouble shooting some issues with the Palm OS version. That how old school I be.

Would be nice to have integrated data on GP video without having to use third party software post processing, that's always a pain in the ***. I would upgrade to iOS version of HLT for sure.

 

Yes, there is an app from GoPro that lets you control your camera. But the neat thing about Harry's lap timer is that you can start your app recording and the GoPro at the same time. Now only if Trackmasters was able to do the same thing.
