In other news, I worked on the motor some more yesterday. Just a few ancilleray brackets left and the motor is ready to be dropped in. I hope to do that tomorrow or Saturday, as I'm dying to start it up.

I just bought some custom 290/290 cams for my eX. I want it to lope so hard, it won't idle.

 

2.6L + stock cams = mad torque

 

I never picked up Marc's cams.

In a stock motor, yes.

 

Its a "stock" rebuild. Have you looked at prices for OEM internals lately?

 

Enough lift that I can get that cool valve to piston tapping sound.
