Its not the housing. You're the only one having this recurring issue. I've only had 1 experience with an 02 bolt coming loose in the 4 years i ran them.

Thai, where do I get these? You got extra, price shipped? ASAP!

Chu, I realize its not the housing... for the most part its been good and I can't complain. It is however another thing that causes problems for me (from time to time), every car is different, mine doesn't seem to like the aftermarket housing. The oe unit however didn't ive me an issue for 65k miles.

Pete, I did have the same issue with losing o2 housing bolts. Happened twice. I don't know what causes them to back out, but the solution was to switch to all studs and use those nuts with the copper securing ring at the top (like on the head where the exhaust manifold attaches).

I still have the bag of nord-locks Thai got me sitting in the garage. Holla at meh if you want to give those a shot, or have the angry azn get chu a set.

That was the one thin I was really working on. I realized my times and driving were not up to par with everyone else out there so I decided to make sure I was really looking ahead.

That flick seems to be the secret to hitting those hairpins. They could do it hanging far right, or even diving in shallow to make a pass. It was unreal.

I say we dominate speed raceway in horsham next!

If you use the OEM bolts, they have crimped-ends, which are "self locking." Then you can also use the locking washers as Marc mentioned here.

I'll be in West Chester today around 11AM. The shop I'm going to is right off the Paoli exit. I could bring out some also. I want 3 waffle cones in return.

Done!

I believe the oe hardware was used originally as I still have all the nuts and bolts came with the o2 housing. I don't think it was an install issue either, I think its a case of being extremely hard on the car/parts.

actually cast iron and stainless steel expand and contract at different temps which is why the aftermarket o2 housing loosened over time.

Pete, $31k for a used Evo X is pretty damn expensive. You could get a new one for not much more. If it were $26-28k it would be worth considering IMO.

^ Oh, so its no longer an install problem...? huh... huh?

I was actually thinking it might have cracked, glad it was only loose bolts.

Chu, when does assembly begin?
