That looks pretty awesome...the best part of that coming out is it will hopefully drive the prices of the Hero2 down...
Thoughts?

I wish there was more reviews on this tire, but there just isn't.

I ordered my x5 tires there- they said it was in stock. a week later I call and they said they have to special order them and it takes 6 weeks.

Heard/read the same thing about their service. Grillo, try that ish out. Be the test dummy.
BTW< i need some ST47's to try for the EVO... can you holla at your/our connect for meh?
I had forgotten how much I like Thunderbolt. Yesterday was awesome.
I had a great student who had never turned a wheel on a racetrack. He was driving his wife's bone stock R56 (on 30K miles old run-flats). By the end of his 2nd session he was taking the last corner flat; coming on to the front stretch at 90-100mph, though he had a really hard time with getting the Octopus right (hey, who doesn't?). Though it took all day for me to get through to him the principals behind the friction circle and his front tires took a beating from the understeer-inducing, mid-corner throttle-romping he gave them.
I will try to get some video up later, but I was turning low-37s (no-chicane) by the end of the day (only had three sessions for instructors). I am sure there was a mid-36 out there if I had had the ***** to take T3 flat. I was asking too much from the front tires and would understeer on turn-in everywhere.
I need to tweak my driving and the suspension (but mostly my driving) to get the most from these Hoes. I think a combination of stiffer spring rates and more comfort with aggressive trail-braking to get the back end to come around a bit would get the tires into the slip angle they need to really work right. Next event: Track Daze at Thunderbolt on September 20-21.
