PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
I have some leak all down the block of the corolla. I couldn't tell if its oil or coolant (because it's turned a bit dirty and gritty). Coolant isn't that low and oil level is acceptable throughout the 4000 mile interval. The valve cover gasket was replaced recently so it's not from there.
I'm doing a 2jz-gte or 7m-gte and rwd conversion.
/cool post.

I was breaking in the new clutch on the crv last night. The carbonetic quad disk seems to be holding 850 ft/lb of torque just fine.

Fu(k me said way. Found out this morning that the civic has a blown head gasket, hopefully not a cracked block. It was running hot, so I checked the coolant and had to put almost a gallon in. Didn't think anything of it, until I decide to check the dipstick this morning, sure enough there was green sludge and foam. Good thing I checked before taking the car to kart.
So I haz the evo tonight, who wants to do 3rd gear pull for ice cream.

He has the same model as Trang, and they are known to randomly crack. Young and I discuss this when I had her car at his shop to replace the bad fuel pump. That's also a random but known mishap apparently.

I plan to be there about 4:15-4:30. When signing up and paying, be sure to tell them "turn up the boost, brah." They use 2 speeds on the karts and may not give you speed "4" unless you tell them upfront you are a PRO. Then again, on nights like tonight, I don't know many casual karters who would pay $50+. But it doesn't hurt to ask and make sure. I don't want to hear no restrictor plate excuses!
