Is it ok to daily drive with bucket seats? I think my car is too heavy and want to drop a few pounds on it.

 

Depends on what type, there are many different kinds and they feel different. Try to sit in ones that you might buy first.

 

JSCspeed has a bunch of seats in their office you can try.

 

I want a seat for home use, need to upgrade my GT5 chair.

I think at a ProSolo that is totally possible, at a regular Autox I think the car would not win, to heavy. We beat a stockish GTR (or 2 I forget) at Nationals last year. At the ProSolo Championship a worked GTR took it, we beat the stock (semi stock whatever)_GTR's though. The worked GTR smoked us like a pipe off the line, it was crazy. I wish that car was still around, dude sold it. I think this year that would be a different story if we had another chance to run against that car. No way anyone is getting us off the line like that again.
