anyone know a good fabricator? My sparco seat setup is higher than stock and my head hits the headliner.
currently its
planted bracket
corbeau slider
planted side mounts
sparco evo3

I want a custom bracket made to make it sit much lower.

reason #463 i dont let people work on my car. these are my brand new camber plates...looks like the retard monkey who did my alignment tried to drive around without tightening the allen screws, and then jammed the wrong size allen wrench in and half stripped all of them, and only about 3 out of 4 were actually tight. this wonderful job cost me $140 bucks, normal price is $79, but i had to pay the extra because its a "special setup". and to think...i used this shop before and somewhat trusted them.

WTF?! You need some good shop up there or consider inconveniencing yourself to drive far to one.

I was told that VAC Motorsports started working on making ct9a seat brackets. I don't know what came of it but its worth asking them about it. Plus hey will fabricated whatever you want.

Yeh tell me about it. I need to get my smartcamber out/setup and check it now. The sheet they gave me says the front is dead nuts on what I asked for...dunno if i believe it now. Cars up in RI with me now, and dyno tech is 15 min away...gonna go talk to them next weekend.

^ wtf. i'd be drop kicking a **** if that **** happened to my car. why the eff did they need to drive your car, don't they trust their $50k alignment system getting it right. if that's the case, then might as well just eyeball it. a custom setup doesn't require anymore work than a oem setup, just tell them not to touch the camper plates, and set the front camper bolts to max while keeping both side even. the two times that i took my car to alignment shop, i talked to the tech and watched him when he was working on my car.

The tech always drives my car after an alignment, just sayin.

I certainly wouldn't be happy about that either, I'd go back and *itch, demending st leat a partial refund. Not that it's going to fix yo ish.

I am drinking a beer made from raisins, Dogfish Head Raison D'atre or something. Love this beer, ran out and grabbed a 6 pack of that and Rogue IPA with some Hazlenut in it. Looking forward to trying that next, just having a few tonight.

KillerP, that is F'ed up. You should have flipped out, that place owes you some camber plates. Go in there and get them, talk to the manager and if he is not hearing you throw a temper tantrum in front of his customers. I would not trust anything that shop did BTW, just do it yourself or find a reputable shop.

as murphys law would have it im kinda SOL. job was done a week ago at a shop back in new york when i was at my parents on vacation. i was in a rush to get back up to RI, so i stupidly never checked the plates. my dad checked em before he drove up yesterday and found this.

my smart camber is showing 1.5 degrees difference on the front wheels using the zero out at each corner method, but i havent measured the floor yet, so my guess is the floor could easily be off that much. hopefully i can get a leveling setup done this week...otherwise ill at least go to firestone down the street and have them check it.

and i have a track day in 2 weeks of course. just my luck.

Happy Easter all my Catholic friends!
Chilling here this morning having a cup of coffee getting ready to go for a run for the first time in months. Hope I don't fall apart while I am out there.

Any how the Autox season has started and I am feeling the racing bug this morning, what I am watching:
This guy can drive, total beast behind the wheel in my opinion, not that I am a track day expert or anything LOL
There is the San Diego National Tour this weekend, I watched yesterday and will some today. I get to see what my west coast friends did to their cars, gives me an idea what to expect when I get to Nebraska this year. Check it out, live video broadcast should start at 1:00 our time

^ looking the pics of those scratches on the camber plates, looks like they tried to use a screw driver or pry bar to move the upper when they stripped the allen bolt.
