PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
^ video is playing at normal speed. The original vid was slowmo 60fps, I had to export at 2x speed. Also, the angle was set at 120°, I have other vids where the anti motion was turned off and angle set at 170°. Also, it didn't record sound when recording in slowmo 60/120 fps. They'll probably add that with the next firmware update.
Ok, the Sony vid looks good. But dam Carson had a bad angle and didn't use 'stabilize' option in Youtube Video Manager. It ain't a big deal to do stabilization, the big deal is getting good footage. Post processing is cake, just need to click buttons.

The Sony was a little better to watch, but Carson's was more fluid. That's why I thought the Sony was in slow-mo.
I used the "anti-shake" on Youtube before for one of my in-car videos. It didn't do much. You should probably record at normal speed, then slow it down in post-processing.

Finally got one video converted and uploaded. Check out the anti motion compare to how shaky the video is from carson.
That's robert thats next to me at the beginning. See how I game him room at corner entry and the fu(kers turns into me at exit even though I had the line and the lead. Then he ramp into me on the next lap. He didn't check his lug nuts when he left though for the night.

I like that anti-motion thingy. Vid looked good right up until you pointed-by that girl in the pink shirt... you lost mad street cred doin that!
i honestly didn't like the sony stabilization. Maybe its because that was slomo and sped up. Never use the stabilization from youtube. I did it a few times and the videos actually get very choppy and are extremely difficult to watch. I'd rather a little shake in the video, with consistency, than a video with less shake, but changes speeds every 5 seconds.
Thai, i think if you get the right settings down on the Sony cam, it will certainly be better than the contour. I also shot that in 1080 i believe, maybe if i turn it down it will make it a little smoother.

I have vids with anti motion off, I'll try to post tonight when I can export it to normal speed. You can definitely see more shakes in that video. I won't use 60fps again unless I'm going to use it in slow mo. I was also recording in 720p.
Here's video of me chasing Grillslow. This is with the anti motion off. You can see that the helmet is fixed location con the video vs. the vid where anti motion was on and the helmet move around. You have a better sense of the bumps on the track.
25 minutes per day per person, yeah I'm there.
