abandoned places?

Anyone know of any fun, abandoned places to drive? Maybe an abandoned town? It might be fun to set up an autox though a ghost town...

lol no just don't want to go to the track or worry about a ticket/pedestrians every time I want to heat up the tires a bit... I'd like to keep the perfect driving record intact

You are probably only a few hours from Centralia, PA. That is an abandoned city due to an ongoing underground coal fire. It's the real life Silent Hill.

Yeah, I just moved back from Oregon. I may be down for a roll out there. There is an abandoned highway and parts where you can hike out and check stuff out. You can youtube it...

ok looked into the place. It's super creepy. Perfect for a shoot and explore... there is still fire and smoke coming out of the ground from the underground mine fire. Supposedly it will last for another 250 years. Apparently it did actually inspire Silent Hill. Hotkupa you were spot on, oddly enough. lol
