I used to be a member of a "Cool" Civic forum where they'd have a HUGE 100+ car meet in FDR State park in northern Westchester county.

It was AWESOME. Sponsors galore, free parts, giveaways, discounts, etc. I've never had so much fun at a car meet.

I would like to organize something like this. I see a few small meets popping up here, but I would love to see a larger meet (obviously with rules). It would be a great way to meet some fellow enthusiasts and have a good time.

I would be happy to organize this and also contribute some extra parts of my own (as giveaways), and try and organize sponsors and stuff. I don't mind putting in the effort if we can get a bunch of people to go.

Also, an "attendee judged" show would be nice too. There can be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd or something like that.

I know the meet I used to go to they rented out the entire parking lot and the local authorities were aware etc.

4RETECH and company usually do two meets at Bear Mountain / Harriman State Park, one in the spring the other in the fall. Turnout is always excellent, 70+ cars. I'm sure they will continue to put them on in 2014.
