Now that the Spring is on us, i've been thinkin of getting some tint put on my car. Anyone from around the Boston area know of a good shop? Also any idea of what is legal up here as far as percentage of tint? Thanks in advance. Poss

TintKing in Billerica,MA. They have a shop, but mostly on the road.

http://www.tint-king.com/

Last I got a quote of $250. I didn't go, but pm me if planning to try them out. I will jump in too. Hopefully can get a cheaper price for more cars.

I found recommendation from NASIAC forum.

Does seem a little steep but I'll give them a call and see what they say. They may bring the price down if we can round a few more people up. Thanks for the help though. I'll pm you once I talk to them.

Remember though you get what you pay for. If you use a cheaper place are you most likely going to get cheaper materials. The places that are charging $300 of a tint job are using top quality materials and normally will back up their work....

So I called and here is the deal. He said $200 and that has a lifetime warranty. The legal limit in MA is 35% but obviously have have other tints. I also asked about a group deal and he said that he would have to check with his boss but if we bring in at least three cars at the same time that we may get some money off but he would have to discuss that further. Anyway, I'm pretty serious about getting it done soon so if anyone else is game lets discuss a date.

The more we get the better. They have to cut us some kind of a deal if we roll up with like 5 cars. I talked to a guy that I work with that has the same car as me and he may be down also.

i called Tintpro in Woburn probably about 6 month ago about a tint job. I told the guy that possibly 5 people would be coming in and asked about a group discount. he normally charges $175 for a 4 door car and was willing to give us a price of $150. i don't know if he's willing to do that now but i guess i can call again.

here's their site if anyone wants to check it out

I don't know the reputation of either of these shops so...if anyone knows anything please throw in your two cents. I looked into the first place because of the suggestion of chinalfr. As I said before I am very interested in getting this done so any info would help. Thanks in advance. Poss
