hey wassup guys..i have been around this lancer forum since it almost first began..my car has about 15,000 miles now.....im definitely down to be part of this...im from queens by the way...and i saw the posts back there..im the one that represents the FIZZ autosports license plate holder... ..im glad someone is steppin up and doin this for our car club......

by the way...about the name...team redline...it is already taken...i have seen it before...they got some pretty hot cars....i saw their website from one of my aquaintences racing crew website "tantrum racing"......i hope that our lancerz club will be as hot as well....

Gosh darnit, REDLINE is taken!? ARGHH!!!!! oh well,... we need something else now, btw, nycrazy I saw your car in Flushing around Sanford... nice mods, I was wondering is they make red sidemarker bulbs? And where you got your blue bulb for the sidemarker? I know about tantrum, and I think they are pretty cool, but I want to do one that will be bigger & better. They rank on the few of the top, and even got some of their cars published on mags', but I hope our car club will be better. Anyways, now that we're outta of a name, any suggestions? how about " THE TEAM THAT"S BETTER THAN TANTRUM AUTOSPORTS"? hahaha just a thought... actually the deadline still stands by this next weekend we will have a name. So pls submit some ideas...

P.S sorry if I made some gramatical errors, I'm half asleep still...
btw, there's actually a story behind why I want to be bigger & better than Tantrum, we'll talk about that later on in the forum.. One more thing not to attack Tantrum but they're members mostly consist of asians. I'm asian myself but I certainly do not want to restrict this team to only asians.

I think I started something very wrong... we shouldn't bash other clubs... We should strive to be better :-)

Okay it's time to start collecting info. I'm going to do this first, individually, so I will try and contact each other you on AIM, as for the people who don't use AIM, you will recieve an email. I think the best way to go about doing this is collecting name & address[I'm still a fulltime college student so I'm not in any business, I won't spam or use your locations for anything other than club activities, and of course the priority will be first email, if anything needs to be sent to your address I will first ask for permission! No one other than me and the pres of the club will know your locations!] first, also please list any hobbies. If I can find like a common hobby we can arrange something for those into other things(i.e Strip Clubs , Pool, Clubbing, CS,etc...)

Second order of business, I think it will be pretty hard for all the lancer owners to get together often, so I'm thinking about making a meet maybe once a month or once two month. As for the other times,locals can meet up to hang out anytime...

my idea is simple.
Meet once a/or (2)month(s)
and locals can arrange something like once a/or (2)week(s)[purely optional of course]This way it's more convinent for people.

Perhaps we can assign group leaders to local meetings, like for L.I or Upstate? I'll contact the local leaders about any news and you people can meet up to shoot pool,etc,... and discuss news. That way no one is left out.

if anyone has any better ideas, feel free to share them.

awesome I'm glad one of you likes the idea but since I hate running a club under dictatorship, it will ultimately come down to your opinions, so feel free to input on the idea of meeting
either once a month or once in 2 month, and having local leaders form meetings 1 a week or 1 in two weeks. I know everyone is busy and has a life. So.. please input your ideas. I'm thinking once we get more people which I know we will because there's still other people I know that want to join, the first few of you guys who initially started participant feedback ,will be leaders to the locals areas.

 

For local meets, maybe once (maybe twice or more) depending on everyone's schedule but I would think at least once a month. And for everyone meeting together, possible once every two months or something like that. Maybe when everyone does get together we could do something like a big BBQ and cruise or something along those lines Let me know what you guys (girls yet?) think

 

I'd say monthly and locally bi-weekly. ?TLR? "Team Lancer Racing"???

Great input, I'll put a vote on it soon, another order of business... We still need a name, nothing restrictive to Lancers, Race, or Creed. I don't really want to exclude anyone.
